Culture Works is a nonprofit regional arts agency, that provides a unified voice for all the cultural organizations and activities in the Dayton region, and promotes the good news about the amazing cultural vibrancy of our region to a national audience.

We galvanize widespread support for arts and culture, while also ensuring that every citizen has the opportunity to experience the Dayton Region as a dynamic and creative place to live, work, play—and stay!

Culture Works Programs & Initiatives
- Conduct an annual community campaign to support arts and culture

- Serve as a community clearinghouse for cultural information
- Advocate locally, regionally, and nationally for arts and culture
- Market the totality of the cultural community to a national constituency
- Represent the cultural sector and its value in discussions regarding economic development, education, and the revitalization of neighborhoods
- Support audience development
- Provide leadership in convening cultural organizations to address important community issues
- Facilitate collaborative efforts relating to arts and culture including community cultural planning.
Membership Opportunities
A donation of $85 or more to Culture Works qualifies for “Passport to the Arts” membership. Passport members are eligible to receive two-for-one tickets to more than 60 arts events in the Dayton Region, as well as restaurant and retail discounts. A listing of specific performances available for discounted tickets is available. Don’t delay—become a member today!

Volunteer Opportunities
During the annual Campaign for the Arts, Culture Works facilitates workplace giving at more than 75 locations within the community. Employees who volunteer to coordinate these programs are critically important, not only to the financial success of these giving efforts, but also for making the effort both meaningful and enjoyable for their colleagues. Enthusiastic volunteer ambassadors play a key role in the success of the Culture Works Campaign for the Arts, and everyone’s participation is welcomed.
Giving Opportunities
Gifts to Culture Works are used to market the Dayton Region as a community with extraordinary cultural assets and to support free performances and audience development. Additionally, Culture Works offers opportunities to make a gift to a specific program or initiative of the organization.

The annual Campaign for the Arts raises funds to support local cultural organizations while simultaneously increasing community awareness of the importance of arts and culture to the life we enjoy in the Dayton Region.
Sponsor a Program
Culture Works provides a number of valuable services for the community which include community cultural planning, an annual “Guide to the Arts” publication, and a community cultural calendar. Direct support for any of these programs gives the added recognition opportunity of having your or your company’s name associated with a particular program or initiative as a sponsor.

Culture Works conducts one of the larger Workplace Giving Campaigns in the nation, and many companies utilize this opportunity for employee engagement, as well as a way to encourage community support by their employees. Whether a business has 5 or 5,000 employees, a workplace giving program can be tailored to the individual needs of the company, providing a significant opportunity to demonstrate corporate responsibility. Culture Works provides recognition to companies hosting workplace giving, as well as to individual employee participants.
