Whether you’re in the mood for a quiet evening with a friend at the symphony or a foot stomping, heart pounding night of jazz, the Dayton region abounds with musical experiences.
The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, comprised of 83 professional musicians is a regional favorite under the artistic leadership of Music Director Neal Gittleman. This talented orchestra also hosts collaborative performances with the likes of Yo Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Marvin Hamlisch, Renee Flemming and other world renowned artists.
Cityfolk, the largest ethnic and folk presenter in the state, offers both a Jazz and Celtic series on its season line up.
