Professional producers like the Human Race Theatre Company engage local, regional, and national actors to produce work here in our community. These “equity” performers (national professional actors union) live and work in the community as they develop new work with professional directors/choreographers. The end product is a fresh and exciting work of premier quality.
Community theatre groups like the Dayton Playhouse and Dayton Theatre Guild produce great work engaging the talent of local community members. While these individuals are generally nonprofessional actors the quality and charm of such productions are captivating.
Presenters such as the Victoria Theatre Association and Springfield Arts Council bring the best of broadway and other shows available on the tour circuit to our region. They also offer smaller performances and single night blockbusters of national/international repute for the benefit of the community.
